Who We Are

UCPISE LLC is an investigative services agency with its own legal personality and assets, whose purpose is the recovery of unclaimed property or funds and the search for their owners.

The Mission of UCPISE LLC is stated as "To recover and dispose of, with a social justice perspective, property or funds owned by individuals and corporations in the custody of the Office of the Comptroller of the State of California, which are transferred to it pursuant to the Unclaimed Property Act, which requires financial institutions, corporations, businesses and insurance companies to report and forward unclaimed property to the State if no activity has been recorded on an account for 3 years

The Vision of UCPISE LLC is defined as "To be a service agency that provides individuals and corporations with the certainty of recovering their assets in the custody of the State of California, in a framework of collaboration and transparency of unclaimed property claims made by UCPISE LLC before the State Controller's Office.

FILE A CLAIM

File a claim to return the unclaimed property or property or the net proceeds from the sale of such property, as provided by law, to the rightful owner or his heirs.

WE TAKE CARE OF EVERY DETAIL

UCPISE LLC staff carefully reviews each claim, so that the documentation provides to the State Controller's Office proves your legal right to the property to be claimed

PERSONALIZED ATTENTION

We follow up on each claim until the owner of the claim receives the return of the claimed funds.

HOW LONG DOES MY CLAIM TAKE

After the State Controller's Office receives all required documentation, a filed claims are generally processed within 180 days.

QUICK SUPPORT

The Controller's Office will send you a letter of receipt after receiving your claim. If the documentation you provide is not adequate to prove your legal right to the property, someone will contact you.
